b 1939. Formerly Director of Music at Emmanuel Church Northwood, N London; then from 1985 for more than 20 years at The British School of Brussels, Belgium, for English-speakers from more than 70 nationalities. He returned to the UK, to Ripple, then Malvern, Worcs, in 2006. Member of Jubilate Hymns; after work on Hymns for Today’s Church (1982) he was music ed of Carols for Today (1986) and Psalms for Today (1990), and with John Barnard (qv) compiled The Carol Book (RSCM, 2005).
