1027. Who, for my sake

Author: Susie Hare

Who, for my sake,
so overwhelmingly suffered at Calvary;
who, for my sake?
Jesus the Lamb, in all his purity,
slain on a cross to be Saviour of man.

Chorus:
O, what grace to me
flows so freely down from his throne above;
where I should have been,
in my place was seen heaven’s amazing love.

2. Who, for my sake, covered with holiness
all of my sinfulness;
who, for my sake?
Jesus the King,
God’s perfect sacrifice,
yielded for me, his life, gave everything.

O, what grace to me
