I live, dependent on Jesus
in everything I do,
being sure that he who has promised
is faithful, good and true.
Being confident I’m forgiven
and stains of guilt are gone,
I live, secure in his keeping
as my Saviour leads me on.
For I can do all things
in him who strengthens me.
In the power of Jesus, King of kings,
is where my strength shall be.
2 I live, dependent on Jesus
in everything I do,
being sure, when trouble surrounds me,
his love surrounds me, too.
Being confident of his guidance
wherever I may be,
my feet are firm on the pathway
as my Saviour walks with me.

in everything I do,
being sure that he will sustain me
in all he takes me through.
My Saviour is the solid rock
I build my life upon
and, by the power of his Spirit,
in my weakness I am strong.
