God’s word is a light to show me the way,
a mirror to see myself as God sees me.
God’s word is a sword to fight against sin,
to show me God’s love and make me pure within.
It is food for Christians, helping them to grow,
it’s a message from God that everyone should know.
Hide God’s word in your heart,
so that you will not sin against him.
