Father, you know the way that I am taking,
you’re watching over me from day to day,
you are my refuge when my world is shaking—
all-seeing, Sovereign Lord, you know my way.

2. Jesus, for me you trod the path of sorrow—
here at your cross my burdens now I lay;
trials today for purest gold tomorrow—
all-gracious, holy Lord, you know my way.

3. Surely your Spirit leads me on to heaven,
and I shall see my Saviour’s face one day.
I know that my Redeemer lives for ever—
praise to your name, O Lord, you know my way!
