In about 1760, Thos Call compiled or issued The Tunes & Hymns as they are used at the Magdalen Chapel, Properly set for Organ, Harpsichord and Guitar (!); the chapel belonged to the Magdalen Hospital in Prescot St behind the Royal Mint in Whitechapel, E London, to provide rescue and care for street women.
