b Cambridge 1824, d Cambridge 1910. Organist at King’s Coll Cambridge from 1855 to 1876, he spent all his life in that city. He was conductor of the Cambridge Music Soc and also organist at St Peter’s Ch, and Peterhouse and Christ’s Colleges. No.858.
