What can compare to this?
The depth of love I see,
that one who knows my thoughts
was crushed and scarred for me.
Though he had done no wrong
and I am full of sin,
the price is paid and I can be forgiven.
2. What can compare to this?
The Saviour stands for me!
When shame and sin accuse
the blood of Jesus speaks.
To grace alone I cling;
I trust in nothing less
than in his cross and gift of righteousness.
3. What can compare to this?
A Father’s loving hand,
whose care supplies a peace
this world can’t understand.
His power will keep my soul
through all eternity
and death can’t steal the life of Christ in me.
