The will of God to mark my way,
the word of God for light;
eternal justice to obey
in everlasting right,

2. Your eyes of mercy keep me still,
your gracious love be mine;
so work in me your perfect will
and cause your face to shine.

3. With ordered step secure and strong,
from sin’s oppression freed,
redeemed from every kind of wrong
in thought and word and deed,

4. So set my heart to love your word
and every promise prove,
to walk with truth before the Lord
in righteousness and love.
