O God of our salvation,
we come with one accord
in common supplication
to Christ the living Lord;
our Saviour’s promise claiming
that those who meet in prayer,
the Name of Jesus naming,
will find his presence there.
2 As here we make petition,
Lord, grant us our request,
and bring to full fruition
what wisdom sees as best;
that we, the faith confessing,
may lift our hearts in praise,
for life and truth and blessing
to everlasting days.
