In the stillness of the morning
when I wake, and day is new,
Father, may your promised presence
draw my thoughts to you.
2. Through the never-ending clamour
of the most demanding day,
may your Spirit’s inner prompting
show me Jesus’ way.
3. And at times when circumstances
force me into solitude,
