Come, see, the winter is past

Come, see, the winter is past
and the rains are all over and gone;
flowers appear on the earth once again
and the season of singing is come.

O, arise and come with me;
till the day breaks
and the shadows all flee;
arise and come with me.

2. The cooing of doves is now heard in the land
and the fig tree is forming its fruit;
blossoming vines spread their fragrance abroad,
come and sit in the shade of my tree.

3. We have been placed like a seal on his heart
for his love is as strong as the grave;
it burns like a fire that cannot be quenched,
many rivers can’t wash it away.
